The Foundation Announces an Increase of the Scholarship

Today, we are delighted to announce that the monthly scholarship of the Vladimir Potanin Fellowship Program will be increased by 5 thousand rubles: Starting January 1st, 2020, the grant will total RUB 25,000.

Every year personal grants are awarded to 500 first- and second-year master's students from the 75 universities involved in the Fellowship Program. 352 students currently receive the grant. These students won the 2018/2019 Fellowship Сompetition for master's students and continue to work towards their master's degrees. The 500 winners for the 2019/2020 season will be announced by Feb 25, 2020, and their first monetary installment will be paid in February.

The competition aims to provide systemic support to the top master's students in the country, creating favorable conditions for their professional and personal growth, as well as for the development of university communities and the educational sector. In addition to financial support, program participants receive access to additional opportunities for professional improvement. The Foundation programs allow students to tap into their creative capabilities and leadership potential.

As of 2020, more than 28,000 students from 83 universities across Russia have received fellowship grants from the Foundation.
