The total sum of grants is 18.8 million rubles.

562 applications from 75 regions have been submitted in the first round.
442 applications have been accepted for evaluation.

Top-5 regions by winners

Moscow – 7

Chelyabinsk region – 7

Sverdlovsk region - 6

Khabarovsk Kray – 4

Tomsk Region – 4

For the first time, central cities from the leading regions do not top the list: initiatives from small towns and municipal settlements are equally represented.   Thus, there are projects from Miass; Kopejsk, Chelyabinsk Region; Jalutorovsk, Tyumen Region; Nikolaevsk-na-Amure, Khabarovsk Kray; village Ikrjanoe, Astrakhan  Region and the settlement Svetlyj Jar, Volgograd Region that the Foundation works with.

The General Director of the Foundation Oksana Oracheva stated “At present, at our School, we have impactful projects uniting the whole country: they are aimed at helping people who survived organs’ transplantation, developing inclusion in entrepreneurship, online teaching new skills to senior citizens, and engaging volunteers in economy of collective consumption. The majority of the competition winners work in small towns and rural areas and they have first-hand knowledge of the local community current problems. We would like the competition corresponds to its name and becomes a springboard not only for initiatives supported by the Foundation, but future brilliant ideas''.

46 independent experts from the non-commercial sector from more than 30 Russian regions were engaged to evaluate the applications. Two experts evaluated each application; and in case of a significant discrepancy, applications were sent to further assessment.
