Call for the Applications for the festival EndowFest!

• Do you have a real and not bookish knowledge of endowments?

• Do you have an idea about the Russian endowment market development after the pandemic?

• Have you achieved financial sustainability of your non-commercial organization acting contrary to  the rules?

Tell us your story at the festival EndowFest which takes place within V forum “Endowment 2021. More than money” on 19^th – 23^rd April 2021. Not only will you write your case in history of endowments but you can also influence the development of the future.

The organizers of the forum are the Vladimir Potanin Foundation and Moscow Management School SKOLKOVO under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Development.

EndowFest is a festival about the future of endowments, it was designed to demonstrate aspirations of the non-commercial sector through personal stories. We would like to know what you have already achieved and what actions and tools you are going to use to implement your ideas on the development of endowments.

The online format of the event will allow us to attract public attention, and your recommendations and advice will help those who are only thinking about establishing an endowment fund or solving a problem with its development. A dialogue with a moderator will precede a presentation of each case and in the end of a talk be ready to answer questions.

• How to establish an endowment if your theatre is not big and there are no stars in your Supervisory Board?

• What changes would you like to bring about with the help of an endowment?

• Why does pandemic spark interest in endowments?

• What expectations did you have while establishing an endowment and what reality did you encounter?

Practical

• How to find supporters of establishing an endowment in your organization?

• Which endowment model to choose: inside or outside your organization?

• Endowment replenishment without major donors: 200 or 10 years?

• A management company: how to choose and interact with it?

• How to spend endowment’s income?

• How to evaluate effectiveness of an endowment?

• How to position an endowment and promote the idea in society?

• What special projects will attract attention to the topic of endowments?

Sectoral

• What are the specific features of endowments in education, culture, art, sport and social sector?

You have to submit an application to participate in the festival EndowFest.

The decision on including your story in the program will be taken by the Program Committee of the Forum. Applicants who offer innovative formats of presentations: interactive sessions, on-line excursions, performances, shows etc. will be preferred. After applications’ evaluation, you will receive a notice on your participation in your e-mail.

Applications are being accepted till 22^nd February 2021

All presentations will be recorded and made publicly available along with other forum materials.  We are sure that your story about your experience with an endowment will support colleagues from Russian non-commercial organizations and will take them to new frontiers in working with endowments.
